Good compliment to the book

I bought "7 Steps to a Pain Free Life" by Robin McKenzie on the recommendation of a physical therapist. The book has good descriptions, photos, and explanations of the steps in the McKenzie method for the back, neck and shoulder. The video adds to the treatment of the back with being able to see the method in practice, something along the lines of a video is worth a thousand words. They tell you to watch the entire video before starting on the method, and after watching it, I can agree. The video has good detail and explanations of the steps in the method, what exercises to do when, as well as what to try if the initial steps do not show improvement. With the combination of the two, you get some insight on treating back pain yourself, and simple exercises to help prevent back injuries in the future. Note they recommend seeing a certified McKenzie therapist before starting a program. If you do find a good McKenzie certified therapist, this video should give you a good background on the method before your visit.
