OPTP offers three ball sizes to accomodate various body areas. Inflate or deflate balls as needed to adjust size or firmness. Needle inflating pump required for inflation (sold separately). Supports up to 660 pounds. Balls are shipped partially deflated.
Note: Balls come in assorted colors (red, blue, yellow and green). Color can not be selected.
The Beginner Ball is soft and used for beginners, those with osteoporosis, arthritis or limited flexibility. 21cm (8¼") in diameter.
The Intermediate Ball is firm and smaller for detail work; especially the shoulder, neck, abdomen, pelvis and arm. 18.5cm (7¼") in diameter. Assorted colors.
The Advanced Ball is the firmest and is used for spinal work or specific muscle release. 18 1/2 cm (7 1/4") in diameter.

Better than a foam roller
I have used these for years and they are a good quality product.
I teach my patients to use these balls for self treatment; they are better than foam rollers because the ball provides the ability to work perpendicular to the muscle fiber, and achieve better release of fascial restrictions; also the amount of pressure the ball exerts on the body can be easily adjusted by adding air/letting air out of the ball - not something a foam roller can do.
