Helping my back and my neck

I've only had these a few days, but I am working my feet on them when I get up in the morning, and when I go to bed at night. I'm getting straighter in my body, and my neck actually adjusted itself while I was working on them! And the grumpy bunion is getting better too, with the help of some new Stegmann clogs. Good all around for this aging body~!

Good relief for post-stroke feet problems and two questions

I had a spinal stroke in May 2019 which affected the lower half of my body. My feet are the last area to retain noticeable problems from the stroke. In the mornings they are stiff and sometimes hurt when I take the first steps. This makes walking difficult for an hour or so affects my balance somewhat. I've been using the balls for approximately one week now and after an exercise session they feel so much better. The Happy Feet book is very helpful in showing how to use the balls and for how many repetitions. My questions: It is recommended that I fully inflate the balls or can I continue using them partially inflated and still obtain best results? What is the recommended way to to keep them clean - how to wash them, dry them and how often. Thanks for a great product!

What a relief - back pain, hip joints, knees better than a roller !

I've just got rid off massive pain in my kness and hip joints and decided to write this review. It had been few years when I got those balls set, I got this along with a book to help with my dance practice, but things changed because of my back problems and I put them aside. A couple of weeks ago I was looking for an idea what to do with them and I've started to use as support them to do push ups on the table edge (I have really week muscles now and I need a lot of support), because they provide support releasing the joints pressure on the wrists. Today is my day, I did this massage lying flat on the floor facing down and I used balls first to massage my knees, and second to massage hip joint. I felt terrible pain whilst massaging my knees but I knew it was a good pain - inspired by massages I was given when I had my rehabilitation. It's a tool one of it's kind, I feel safe using them and I know it's safe to my tissue and joints. I wish they come in bigger size to be able to massage bigger areas.

finally...relief!

Funny to think that my mom was the hardest sell on this of all my clients. She's been experiencing foot pain for 3 yrs, which has begun to seriously affect her walk (therefore other parts of her body) and limiting her activities too. She was convinced only specialized massage could bring her any kind of relief. After trying to "persuade" her of the many benefits of these Franklin balls, I simply gifted her a pair, along with some simple instructions, and guess what: I'm right at last! RELIEF! For the first time in 3 yrs she woke up with no pain in her feet, AT ALL. She'd tried tennis balls and foot rollers and the whole nine, so getting her to try something new was indeed a bit of a challenge, but that was the toughest part of her soles' rehab. Expect great results from this product. Since regaining her sense of mobility and balance mom has started leisure walking more, joined aquafit, and generally looks like a whole new (younger) person. Wish I'd done this sooner. Live and learn...and share!

So much fun!

These balls are wonderful for the feet and balance work. I use them every day for my own feet, including standing on them and practicing various exercises. Clients are always surprised by the difference they feel after using a ball to work with one foot and compare it to the other one. One feels like a block of wood, compared to the newly released and dynamically adaptive one they rolled. Almost everyone buys a set to take home with them. If you have problems with your feet, these can definitely help.

Clients Love These Balls

We teach Franklin Method Ball exercises in Pilates classes and in private sessions. Generally, if clients use the balls once, they purchase a set for home and travel. For our older clients, this is one of the best tools for balance using the Franklin Method foot exercises. The balls are durable, maintain the air pressure once filled, and can be washed in warm soapy water for common use.
