About the Author

Sandra (Sandy) Hilton, PT, DPT, MS, is a pelvic health specialist, co-owner and practitioner at Entropy Physiotherapy & Wellness. She was the Director of Programming for the section on Women’s Health of the American Physical Therapy Association from 2012-2017. She is now on the board of the Abdominal and Pelvic Pain special interest group, a part of the International Association for the Study of Pain. She speaks internationally at seminars on treating pelvic pain, educating other healthcare professionals and the general public. Sandy co-authored her first book, Why Pelvic Pain Hurts, is a regular contributor on health-related podcasts and is co-host of the Pain Science and Sensibility Podcast.
