BREATHE, RELEASE & RELAX: FRANKLIN METHOD® BALL EXERCISES FOR THE NECK AND SHOULDERS

Neck and shoulder tension often has less to do with the neck and shoulders themselves than with how we breathe, move, and coordinate the entire upper body. In this experiential webinar, Eric Franklin will demonstrate how improving ribcage mobility, breathing mechanics, and movement awareness can reduce unnecessary tension and create greater ease throughout the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Participants will learn how the breath, ribcage, shoulder girdle, and neck function as an integrated system and discover simple yet powerful strategies to improve mobility, comfort, and posture.

Throughout the webinar, Eric will guide participants through a variety of Franklin Method® exercises using several different Franklin Method balls. These specialized ball techniques help enhance body awareness, improve movement quality, release excess muscular tension, mobilize joints and soft tissues, and support more efficient breathing patterns.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How breathing influences neck and shoulder tension
  • Why ribcage mobility is essential for healthy neck and shoulder function
  • How to reduce overuse of breathing muscles in the neck
  • Practical Franklin Method® movement and imagery techniques for immediate relief
  • How different Franklin Method balls can be used to improve breathing, mobility, posture, and comfort
  • Simple exercises you can use daily to maintain a relaxed neck and free-moving shoulders

Leave with a deeper understanding of the breath–neck–shoulder connection and a toolbox of effective techniques to help yourself and your clients move, breathe, and feel better.
