About Freddy M. Kaltenborn, PT, OMT

The late Professor Freddy M. Kaltenborn, PT, OMT, introduced the principles of manual therapy throughout Europe in the 1950s and over the next five decades was instrumental in establishing this practice specialty throughout the world. In 1973, he began a decades-long collaboration with Professor Olaf Evjenth to develop the OMT Kaltenborn Evjenth System. His work laid the foundation for the International Federation of Manipulative Therapists (IFOMT) practice standards.
