Freddy M. Kaltenborn, Manual Therapy Innovator

The late Professor Freddy M. Kaltenborn introduced the principles of manual therapy throughout Europe in the 1950s and over the next five decades was instrumental in establishing this practice specialty throughout the world. Freddy M. Kaltenborn was the first practitioner and instructor of manual medicine to integrate the theory and practice of orthopedic medicine with the practice of osteopathy and chiropractic. Kaltenborn worked for over 60 years to develop his world-renowned system for the manual treatment of joint conditions.
