Soft, Gentle Compression Foam Rollers from Sara Meeks
Sara Meeks is a clinical physical therapist who designed the Meeks Method to address the unique management needs of those with low bone mass (osteopenia) and skeletal fragility (osteoporosis). She developed the Sara Meeks Half Roller and Sara Meeks Full Roller, which both feature a gentle, sponge-like compression, for people with these conditions.

Sara Meeks Half Roller
Made of soft density foam, the Sara Meeks Half Roller is rounded on one side and flat on one side, providing added stability and soft compression, ideal for individuals with osteoporosis. This foam roller can be used just about anywhere, including on the ground, in a recliner chair, or on a bed. It’s ideal for performing exercises from the Meeks Method, created by Sara Meeks. It’s also an excellent tool to help improve spinal alignment and balance, in addition to stretching the hips and knees in side-lying positions.

The Sara Meeks Full Roller is a great next step for people who are ready to advance from the Sara Meeks Half Roller. Made of the same soft density foam as the half roller, this full-size soft roller provides identical quality back support for the more fragile population. Using the Sara Meeks Full Roller can help people manage osteoporosis by preventing, arresting and/or reversing the common patterns of postural change that may occur with age. This foam roller measures 36" long x 6" diameter and includes a blue vinyl cover.

About Sara Meeks, PT, MS, GCS, KYT
Creator of the Meeks Method
Sara has spent more than 25 years of her nearly 50 years as a clinical physical therapist specializing in the unique management needs of persons with low bone mass (osteopenia) and skeletal fragility (osteoporosis). As a result of her extensive work with persons who have diagnosed osteoporosis, Sara has identified Patterns of Postural Change that occur as, but not necessarily because, people age. She has developed guidelines for physical therapy management, exercise classes, yoga, Pilates, fitness programs and activities, so that therapists can give accurate advice to their patients.
