Perfect for release!
This is my go-to prop for rolling out in a more localized spot. Feet, glutes, calves, shoulders - it is the perfect size and density for all of these spots. I bring this ball with me everywhere, and all of my dancers and Pilates clients also love it!

Perfect density for athletic feet
I used to use tennis balls for detailed bodywork and especially self massage in the arches of the feet, but the pinky ball has a much better surface texture for gripping the skin and solid rubber core to make it a firmer, more substantial ball to step onto. It’s not a hard ball but it’s also not super squishy, it meets the tissues of the foot where they’re at. My go-to ball for any spot scrubbing in the soft tissue.

Works Great
This ball is great for getting into small areas that need myofascial massage pinpointed. I use this for my clients who have "knots" and pain especially under the shoulder blade/Scapular area. Also I use it in a Foam Rolling class for feet and hands.

The best quality pinky balls
I have tried other pinky balls through the years and they all lose their firmness quickly. These by OPTP stay quite firm and have a good texture. I find them especially helpful for foot releases as they provide a bit of springiness.

Terrific
This is a great ball for trigger point release. A much better alternative to the hard balls as it uses a gentler approach but very effective. Love my pinky ball!

Diversity of use
I've been giving these balls to patients for weak pelvic wall dysfunction, not only do they help realign anterior-posterior issues, they are instrumental in releasing fascial columns with one movement. I'm purchasing more as we speak. Thank you love them.

Mighty Pinky Ball to the rescue!
My clients and I love this. They have these balls everywhere, so they have access to them to roll out the knots. They are the best selling item in my studio. Some clients have bought two balls and put them in a child's sock, tied up the ends, and created one double roller for their neck.

My favorite tool
I've used Super Pinky Balls and recommended them to clients for 20 years. They're my favorite for self-treatment of trigger points. The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Claire Davies is my main source for how to work with trigger points. Couldn't do without either.

This is a really great tool to have, its convenient, easy to handle and has just the right amount of firmness to give a good deep massage. I love this little ball, I recommend it to my patients with neck, shoulder and low back pain.

Deeper Massage for Relieving Tight Muscles
Myofascial release with a foam roller is effective and necessary, but adding the Pinky Ball will add more flexibility to tight muscles and tendons. This versatile ball can be used on many body parts, and with the use of body weight, will really get into those tough sore spots. Example: pressure can be adjusted by using full weight or standing against a wall for sore shoulder muscles. Use it as an acupressure tool to massage the bottom of feet and release hormones to stimulate internal organs. So versatile and so simple! Hoping OPTP will create a book to assist and instruct for effective use of the Pinky Ball.

Ball works great for foot release
I am using the ball with my clients, mostly rolling on the bottom of their feet to open up the fascial line running through the feet and up the to the back. It works great.

pinky ball for dancers feet
I gave a pinky ball to each of my young dancers as a self help item in their dance bags. I have used pinky balls for years on my own older dance feet and am teaching young dancers now how to care for themselves. Good pinky balls are difficult to find but OPTP provided them at a good price and quick delivery.

great balls!
I use these on most of my clients to relieve shoulder, hip, knee and ankle pain. Perfect amount of softness and 'give'.
They are just the right firmness for exercising the bottoms of the feet.

LOVE it
I love the pinky ball. It can be used in soooo many ways. It is firm enough to help release tension, but not to the point that creates muscle engagement!

I bought a pinky ball at my chiropractor's office and loved it so much that I have bought some for a few of my massage clients. It works great on getting specific areas.

Not quite the same
I have previously bought the Super Pinky Ball from OPTP and it was the true and original Super Pinky Ball. My most recent order arrived just last week and OPTP's Super Pinky Ball just isn't the same. They came up with their own version on the pinky ball (just to put their name on it?) and it isn't like the original. It is slightly smaller than the original and it isn't quite as firm. The differences are slim but they're there none the less. They will do the trick for my myofascial self treatment work but if I had to chose, I'd go back to the original.

OPTP, Customer Service
Hello Heather,
Thanks for the review. We switched manufacturers when our original Super Pinky manufacturer stopped production. We carefully selected the new material based on it being smoother, higher quality and more durable. While it's not quite the same, we trust that this ball will be a longer lasting and improved version of the original.

A Must For All My Clients
I recommend the pinky ball to all my clients for several conditions. To help relieve pain and/or tightness in the pecs, shoulder area, traps, 2 balls in a sock for thoracic spine, sitting on it for glute/hamstring issues, calf tightness and especially lthe feet. So many uses for the pinky ball and it always gets right to the tight areas! I always have them on stock to give my clients so they can use daily.

I have been buying the super pinky balls from OPTP for YEARS! I was worried when they changed manufactures and in the new picture it looks like the ball comes with OPTP printed on them. I was extremely relieved when the recent order arrived and the balls are simply pink, no print of any kind on them. PLEASE keep it this way, thank you! :) I use these balls to teach self massage to my clients.

Great relief for plantar fasciitis
I keep one of these under my desk at all times for when my plantar fasciitis becomes especially painful. I've used tennis and golf balls in the past, but I prefer the size and firmness of this ball. It also doesn't slip out from under your foot and roll into your neighbor's cubicle. Great inexpensive product that gets the job done.
