This book is way more than simple exercises to release tension in your upper body. It really delves into the mind/body connection and the benefits of using visualization to improve the way you feel and the way you move. It includes a series of ball and band "exercises" with simple step-by-step instructions and photos showing how to do them. The exercises aren't exercises in the traditional sense, they are really ways of moving mindfully and tuning into how different types of pressure on different areas of the body, combined with visualization, can alter the way you feel and the way you move. Whether you are new to the Franklin Method or are an experienced FM practitioner, there is much to be gained from the information and exercises in this book.

Very useful book

Anyone with neck and shoulder tension can benefit from the exercises in this handy little book. It is packed with ideas for using balls to release tension in this area which is so troublesome for so many people. Easy to follow instructions, together with interesting information on how the body works.
