Short Thoracic Pivot™
Perfect for craniosacral treatment or mobilization of the thoracic spine/ribs, the Short Thoracic Pivot™ helps correct abnormal sustained posture, including forward head posture.
Intended for use with the Cervical Pivot™ and Lumbar Pivot™, the Short Thoracic Pivot™ is ideal for craniosacral treatment or mobilization of the thoracic spine/ribs. It retracts the scapulae and places the thoracic spine in the correct posture. It's also an integral part of low back treatment, since proper lumbar mechanics are unachievable with a poor thoracic posture. Poor positioning of the thoracic spine can contribute to many cervical problems, as well.
The Short Thoracic Pivot is part of the Pivotal Therapy System, which uses gravity and a progressive increase of duration to reverse abnormal sustained postures or positions. Use the Short Thoracic Pivot in conjunction with the Cervical Pivot and Lumbar Pivot. For independent use, select the standard Thoracic Pivot™.
